1A while ago we ordered a couple of servers from United Hosting.
These are great little server, they seem very secure.
Only problems with security we’ve ever had was because we used ftp to upload a couple of websites, and the login credentials were captured by some malware. We recommend you use sftp where ever possible over ftp.
IE6 jQuery plugin
5Recently I’ve beginning to wonder why I try to support IE6 anymore.
Vista and Window 7 do not support Multiple IEs and never will.
So I’ve just had to install XP into a virtual machine, just to test with IE6. Upon launching IE6 for the first time, I was greated with a broken page. This broken page just happens to be the first page IE7 users see.
Firefox Addon: Html Validator
Note: This tutorial is based on Html Validator version 0.8.5.2. The details outlined below may not work in future versions.
When I make web sites, I use quite a few different Firefox extensions.
One of the extensions that I use is called Html Validator https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/249
This extension is great.
It main use is to validator the html code when you "view source" in Firefox.
It also has secondary benefit is syntax highlighting.
RRRRThats5Rs.com – Make the World a Better Place
6I recently stumbled upon RRRRThats5Rs.com
There is a game called "Make the world a Better Place".
The object of this game is to throw a computer away, as far as possible, inspiring others.
Tesco starts early
1I found myself recently looking for computer games at tesco.com.
Some of the games that I want to get have yet to be released.
I was interested in when they would be released and for how much.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that "Alone in the Dark" was due for release in January 2020.
Command and Conquer: Kane’s Wraith
0EA Games launched Command and Conquer: Kane's Wrath,on 24th March 2008, the prequel/sequel to Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars.
In the past, I have stated that I would wait for this game to come down in price before buying.
If you are interested, you can view previously compared Command and Conquer games
However EA were including a Beta registration for Red Alert 3 in all boxes, which is something that I really want to try when it is released.
Free Fruit Machine E-Book
4Fruit Machines can be a fun way of passing the time, but can also be very expensive.
I tend to only play then very occasionally, as you can get hooked very easily.
However if you want to play them, and do not have the first idea of how to play them, or what sort of the buttons mean, then this ebook is for you.
A lot of the information will be out of date by now, but the basics are still as relevant today as they were when this was published.
Download the Fruit Machine – Bandit Bible Ebook (1.35MB).
This file has been virus checked, but please check it with your own anti-virus software.
Getting a Grip: Building the Ultimate Robotic Hand
0A 6-foot-tall, one-armed robot named Stair 1.0 balances on a modified Segway platform in the doorway of a Stanford University conference room. It has an arm, cameras and laser scanners for eyes, and a tangle of electrical intestines stuffed into its base.
The next Stair will look for the object in its hand and measure the force its fingers are applying to determine whether it’s holding anything. It will plan an action, execute it, and observe the result, completing a feedback loop. And it will keep going through the loop until it succeeds at its task.
When a computer fails at a task, it spouts an error message. Babies, on the other hand, just try again a different way, exploring the world by grabbing new objects — shoving them into their mouths if possible — to acquire additional data.

Now hopefully this research will advance Computer Vision and Computer Intelligence, and be available to computer scientists.
